Professionals Of Wealth Strategies

Brian H. Breuel,
CLU, ChFC, CFP ®

With over forty years of experience in financial services, Brian Breuel created Wealth Strategies LLC in 2000 because he saw an unfulfilled need to provide clients with personalized and comprehensive financial services. Brian is motivated by trust – of his clients, his employees, his broker-dealer, and his community. Brian has chosen to represent only a limited number of clients. Consequently, he understands each client’s needs and objectives and how to plan for their attainment within the boundaries of their own risk tolerance.

Brian believes in being well-educated and current in all aspects of financial services. A graduate of The Lawrenceville School, Princeton University and The University of Florida College of Law, he has since added masters’ degrees in Financial Services and Management and Certified Financial Planner ™, Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations. He has written books for major publishers about insurance and annuities as well as wealth preservation strategies.

Community service and giving back to the institutions that have made a major contribution to his life are very important to Brian. He has served as President of the Alumni Association and as Alumni Trustee at The Lawrenceville School. He recently had been the President of his class at Princeton University and has served on the Advisory Board of the Center for Human Values. He serves on the Board of the Princeton Prize in Race Relations. Brian also sits on the Deans Advisory Council at Westminster College of the Arts at Rider University.

Brian is concerned about the environment, especially in densely populated New Jersey. He is Treasurer for the D & R Greenway Land Trust, an organization that has helped preserve over 15,000 acres in central New Jersey.

Brian is married to Ley Breuel, an artist and nature enthusiast. Brian has two daughters. Erin is married to Andrew Cook and the parent of grandsons Andy and Bailey. Quinn is a graduate of The Art Institute of Philadelphia and works full time as a designer.

Brian’s life experiences have attracted many clients. In addition to a working career spanning law, estate planning, real estate development and securities, Brian has taken a five year mid-life sabbatical on a Hinckley yawl in the Caribbean, worked on a cattle ranch in Wyoming and is a certified Advanced Open Water scuba diver. His idea of retirement is working three days a week – some day.
